Cake International 2019
Here is my entry for Cake International 2019, miniature division. My concept was “the making of Frankenstein,” and I incorporated a lot of different mediums.

There is a light under the yellow isomalt “glass” on the left. The window and eyes are also made of isomalt.

November 2018 I entered a sugar piece in Cake International in Birmingham, England. My concept was a band of underwater animal pirates.

Each piece is individually judged within its category. I was happy to get a Bronze… though I’ll be shooting for Silver next year!

The theme was pink and teal wedding. Instead of creating a human couple, I made a moose couple as a shout-out to my new state of Vermont

I entered the New York Cake Show in June 2017. The overall theme for the show was Broadway musicals, and I chose Peter Pan.
